We're raising the bar for B2B commerce

Every day, Manutan Group helps organisations purchase, equip and operate more efficiently. But performance alone isn’t enough. We’re raising the bar to become more responsible, more circular, more transparent and more sustainable.

Our CSR strategy guides our decisions every day, enabling us to evolve our product and service offerings and make progress in our choices and results.

Sustainable performance is, above all, a collective endeavor. Together with our suppliers, customers and employees, we are taking action at the heart of our business to transform our business model and evolve our value proposition.
And because CSR also requires evidence, measurement is an essential pillar of our approach.

Nisrene Haddad, Group CSR Director

Three pillars for evolving our model

Supporting progress and integration

We foster engagement, inclusion and skills to enable everyone to grow in a sustainable way.
We also support community initiatives wherever we operate, particularly through the Manutan Social Fund.

Take action where the impact is greatest

More than 90% of our carbon footprint occurs upstream in our value chain (purchasing, transportation, etc.).
We're therefore working with our suppliers and customers to bring about a sustainable transformation of purchasing, distribution and production practices. Our goal: to accelerate the decarbonisation of B2B commerce.

Supporting the transition to a low-carbon economy

We're developing a model based on transparency, compliance and circularity.
Reuse, refurbished products, supplier support: we’re driving change at every stage of the value chain.
Because for a model to be effective, it must first and foremost be sustainable.

A strategy developed in collaboration with our ecosystem

Because change alone isn’t enough, we’re moving forward together with our employees, customers, suppliers and partners, as well as associations and local communities.
Our position at the heart of the B2B value chain commits us to shaping the way we design our product offerings, structure our procurement and guide our stakeholders toward more resource-efficient practices.

Metrics to support our ambitions

Taking responsibility for our impact also means measuring it.
For us, performance must be holistic and is measured using six indicators:

  • Revenue and operating income

  • Four “Doing Better” indicators (Doing Better for employees, for customers, for suppliers, and for the planet) that measure the quality of our relationships with our key stakeholders

They ensure the robustness of our model within our ecosystem.

Governance integrated into decision-making

CSR governance is based on a clear and accountable organisational structure that ensures consistency in decision-making and the integration of environmental and social issues into all activities.

  • The Board of Directors ensures our long-term commitments.

  • The CSR Department, which is part of the Group’s Executive Committee, steers the strategy and monitors key performance indicators.

  • A network of CSR ambassadors implements the strategy in each subsidiary and department.
