Making impact visible to support better decisions

In B2B business, performance is no longer measured solely in terms of cost or efficiency. Using data and digital tools, we make our CSR impact visible to help customers, suppliers and employees make informed decisions.

Better measuring helps support responsible procurement strategies and drive change in practices. Technology is becoming a practical tool for transition, not to add complexity, but to make decisions clearer.

Using technology to accelerate the transition to sustainability

At Manutan Group, data is a driver of action.
The transition isn’t based solely on commitments; it relies on the ability to measure, compare and steer.
We're gradually developing tools that make impacts clearer, more accessible and more actionable.

Our goal: to help our entire ecosystem evolve its practices toward sustainable performance.

Measuring impact to make the right choices

We've chosen to take action based on our product environmental impact score. A key tool for managing, comparing and making progress. Already applied to more than 34,000 products across a wide range of categories, this system will be expanded to our entire product portfolio by the end of 2026.

This approach helps guide purchasing decisions, encourages eco-design and gradually improves the environmental quality of our product offerings.

The product environmental impact score: supporting our ecosystem

This score is designed to serve as a shared tool to help suppliers and customers make more responsible choices.

The impact score is a tool for assessment and progress. It helps identify the main areas of environmental impact for products and initiate concrete eco-design initiatives.
We are moving forward together, guided by a commitment to transparency and continuous improvement, to enhance our products where their environmental impact is greatest.

The impact score provides clear, comparable and directly actionable information for customers' responsible procurement initiatives.
With the gradual expansion of the range of products evaluated, we're able to highlight the most resource-efficient solutions and, for certain proposal requests, offer more sustainable alternatives at equivalent cost. A decision-making tool designed to promote more sustainable performance.

Measuring and managing decarbonisation

Carbon reports, emissions avoidance assessments and performance metrics: these tools enable organisations to accurately track the impact of their procurement and operations.

The Savin'side® solution provides organisations with detailed data on their consumption, the origin of their products and their environmental footprint. This transparency enables them to identify the most effective ways to optimise their operations.

Beyond measurement, we take action by offering concrete alternatives: products with a lower environmental impact, supply chain optimisation and personalised recommendations. This comprehensive approach makes it possible to simultaneously reduce both the carbon footprint and costs.

Integrating responsibility directly into the shopping experience

We are gradually integrating environmental data into the core of our digital platforms:

  • impact score
  • sustainability filters
  • enriched data
  • more transparent product information

The goal: to make choices simpler and more accessible in everyday life. Every order becomes a measurable action.
